The CSCS Safety Net Rigger card is evidence that an operative has had substantial training and assessment in the proficiency of fall arrest safety equipment training and has achieved the required industry standard. All operatives previously qualified with the original CITB FASET card were able to transfer their record of competence to a new CSCS card on return of their original card and a current Health and Safety Working at Height qualification. Those who have done this have been issued with the Blue CSCS card. For a full list of FASET courses please follow the FASET link. | | Combisafe | | Combisafe training courses incorporate both theory and practical exercises. These course provide the individual with an in-depth knowledge on the requirements, and once completed would be able to understand the common fall-risk situations on construction sites. Practical training is carried out at Combisafe Safety Centre. Their Safety Centre has a unique training frame with integral safety cables for leading edge work, which provides examples of both steel and concrete frame construction. This allows extensive, hands-on, practical exposure to all manner of construction solutions. |
| Haki | | HAKI's training courses are tailored to meet each customer's needs, which ensures that each operative fully understands the equipment in use, and the erection procedures and safety requirements to ensure the system is erected correctly for its intended use. The benefit of this training enables all users of HAKI products in the assurance that the equipment is being employed safely and effectively every time this is installed. | | IPAF | | IPAF training is provided by approved training centres. Each approved training centre will set the course fees independently for the training they are providing. IPAF regularly audit these companies. Class sizes are kept small with courses generally lasting one to two days and would have a mixture of theory and practice, with a written and a practical test. The course material is available in many languages and all training centres will receive regular relevant updates. | |
