Free Standing Cable Systems

This Anchor device is used in with Class 'C' horizontal, flexible safety lines. HAS can provide complete design advice, calculations, supply, install, inspection and testing to the current British Standards of all BS EN 795 products currently available.  We will provide cost effective alternative solutions to meet your project requirements.

The device has been specially designed and tested for use with safety lines only. Other deadweight anchor devices should not be used in conjunction with horizontal safety lines unless the manufacturer can verify that the system has been tested with such systems to verify its safe performance under fall arrest situations.

Permitted No of Users:

For fall arrest, no more than one user may be attached to the system at any one time, i.e. one fall arrest user and one restraint user  can use the system as long as both are not connected to the same span.  A maximum of three restraint users can use the system at any one time.

Special Features:

  • First deadweight anchor to have been tested and approved for use with Class 'C' systems to EN 795
  • Provides the option to use straightforward horizontal wires, with 'double lanyards', or more complex systems which allow you to  move past intermediate supports without the need to change lanyards.

The device may be safely used on the following roof surfaces:

  • Single Ply Membrane
  • Asphalt, Steel Cladding
  • Concrete
  • Mineral Felt
  • Stone Chippings (brushed)
