Products - D-Marc Free Standing Demarcation Barrier |
HAS expand their range of products with their new partnership formed with the D-marc range of equipment. The D-marc™ 105 has been wind tunnel tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 105 mph by the BRE and has a patent pending application No. 0802613.0. The stability of the system is due to the unique design of its base and upright which eliminates any potential oscillation—a cause of roof surface damage with traditional systems. |

Project - Thames Valley University, Fixing of Curtain Walling Systems |
|
TVU – Thames Valley University provided HAS with a unique challenge that required a bespoke solution for the temporary fixing of curtain walling panels. HAS were active on site with the supply of a 12 man Rope Access team consisting of four IRATA L3 site supervisors within 3 working days of receiving conformation of order. Materials were designed, manufactured, delivered and installed over a period of 4 weeks within budget and time constraints on this project. Over 10,000 bespoke fixings were installed during the installation period with over 2500 rope hours logged by the installation team. Once again HAS provided swift design input, overnight manufacture of bespoke products and professional installation teams on demand with flawless execution and an exemplary safety record.

Project - Birmingham Mailbox, Design & Installation of Aluminium Walkway System |

HAS have won the tender for the design, manufacture and installation of a bespoke access system for The Mailbox Building in Birmingham. This project required a number of key design elements to allow our client access to the building signage for maintenance. HAS have designed this system to comply with all current British Standards whilst also incorporating folding guard rails on an access walkway mounted on the very edge of the existing roof system. All works are firstly protected with the supply of a Uniline Unirail personal restraint system to allow the end user to fold the handrails into position and secure with no removable parts. Once erected the walkway will allow the maintenance team to erect and lock into position a bespoke access platform designed by HAS from the deck of the walkway to access the signage and undertake their works.

Project - Newcastle University, Replacement of Solar Panels |

HAS were contacted to help with the replacement of the solar energy system at the Newcastle University site. After a site survey it was deemed that the current roof access equipment required modifying to allow safe access for the refurbishment. A new Uniline Unirail system was installed to allow a Industrial Rope Access Team to work in suspension to install bespoke temporary edge debris protection to the three perimeter sides and then finally remove and replace the solar system. During the full contract duration the University site was fully operational and with careful planning and integration all works were completed on time and within budget with minimal disturbance to the students and staff.

Project - M621 Handrails, Kee Safety Kee Klamp Products |

HAS have provided an access solution on the M621 motorway that involved not only installing a permanent Kee Klamp handrail system but also a debris containment system consisting of a temporary Combisafe mesh barrier system. The Combisafe was installed in such a way that the main motorway was able to be left operational without lane closures and therefore reduced risk to the public by avoiding unnecessary traffic measures. Once our safe systems of works were implemented the Combisafe temporary system was installed allowing our client to undertake their works safely behind the temporary edge protection. The Kee Klamp handrail system was completed by HAS in the safe working zone prior to the Combisafe being dismantled.

Project - 3663 Distribution, Roof Access Uniline Systems |

Project 3663 is a new build large bay warehouse that required HAS to design and install over 10 Uniline Uni-8 stainless steel cable based roof access systems. With an overall meterage of over 600m this project proved that HAS can design, supply, install and further maintain large bespoke multi level projects on a fast turnaround bases with cost effective solutions.

Project - Repton Street, London, Design & Installation of Abseil Cleaning Systems |

HAS have completed the design and installation of abseil systems to the Repton Street residential development in London. Due to specific constraints on the structure HAS recommended the new Kee Safety Accessanka portable abseil devices as the preferred solution to undertake future cleaning works. Along with the supply of the Accessanka’s HAS installed and certified a number of abseil eyebolts to various locations and structure type around the site. Once completed HAS provided the necessary access strategy documentation, test certification and certification required to allow the client confidence that all access requirements were covered for the provision of contract window cleaning.
