A modular, free standing roof edge railing system that does not penetrate the roof membrane. The Kee Guard system is fully tested and meets or exceeds current safety requirements. Safety recommendations for the protection of maintenance personnel in countries all over the world are moving to a "hierarchy of safety" where collective fall prevention solutions, as provided by the Kee Guard system, are preferred over singular fall protection alternatives such as harnesses and wire systems. Simple and cost effective, the Kee Guard modular railing system is specifically designed for flat or low sloping roofs (3 degree pitch). The Kee Guard roof edge fall protection system can be used for retrofitting to older buildings as well as for new construction. Safety regulations for roof edge fall protection guardrails vary according to the country. The Kee Guard system has been tailored to meet and exceed the regulations for each country in which it is sold. The Kee Guard system employs a tested and proven counterbalance system for its roof edge railing. Because the Kee Guard system has modular components, it can be configured to fit almost any roof top including circular and bi-level, and can be designed to fit around roof top obstacles. The kee Guard system can be used for roof edge fall protection, walkway demarcation, stairwell and open lift shaft fall protection. It can also be used to fulfil a variety of additional safety requirements. The Kee Guard system is fully tested and meets or exceeds safety requirements. The Kee Guard system is designed for easy roof top installation. Adjustable uprights allow up to 11 degree raking from the vertical movement. No drilling, special anchoring or penetration of the roof membrane is required. No welding, bending or threading required on site. No special tools needed to complete a reliable and safe roof top railing installation. The system uses reliable Kee Klamp components. A simple hex end torque wrench is used to tighten the set screws to a recommended 39Nm. Assemblies that come in contact with the roof membrane are fitted with an anti-slip rubber pad. Collective fall prevention and fall protection can be achieved with the use of the Kee Guard system. Lifeline, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems require individual equipment and specialized training. The Kee Guard system acts as a passive barrier and protects all personnel, even those who may access the rooftop infrequently. The Kee Guard Roof Edge Railing System works along side your existing personal fall protection devices. Important Note: The Kee Guard system cannot be used as an anchor point for personal protection devices / rope access. Only approved devices can be used as tie off or anchor points. |

Kee Dome is a collective, free standing, fall protection solution for use around skylights, roof lights and dome lights up to 2m x 2m in size. The modular Kee Dome system allows contractors and maintenance crews to access rooftops for repair and maintenance work safely and easily without the risk of falling through glazed areas. The product can also be used in seamless harmony with our other fall protection solutions. The Kee Dome system features a number of standard components which can be assembled around the designated area with maximum speed. These include vertical posts, hand and knee rails together with associated 90 degree corner components, and special recycled PVC feet with clamp rings. Once the steel tubing rails have been cut to size, they can be locked into position by the corner components. The adjustable clamping rings are used to fix the feet securely to the corners of the roof light base, which can be up to 4m² in area. As a result, the system remains completely free-standing, eliminating the risk of damage to the roof membrane. Designed as a permanent solution, the new Kee Dome system is fully modular, so it can also be taken down, moved and re-erected as required. Once constructed, it provides a maximum permissible horizontal load of 300N/m, and complies fully with the relevant rooftop safety legislation and EN 14122 pt3. Kee Klamp is an innovative product constructed of steel tubular structures. All components are pre-galvanised cast iron for strength and corrosion resistance. Kee Klamp components are an innovative and versatile product that are used in the construction of railings, safety barriers, racks, greenhouses, structural formwork, and many other uses. These components are installed using only a standard hex key - and no threading or welding is required. Theres is no pre-fabrication of tube structures in the shop, and everything can be assembled and built on site. Finally Kee Kalmp components are also reusable should you wish to dismantle or redesign your structure. There are many variations of components to suit a wide range of applications, providing the versatility to achieve any structural configuration. Kee Klamp components are galvanised iron castings designed to suit eight sizes of tube. A standard hex key and tube cutters are the only tools required to create strong, ridged structures. Recessed grub screws, tightened by the hex key, firmly lock the tube into the fitting. The grub screw is manufactured in casehardened steel and has a Kee Koat protection against corrosion. This combined with Thread Koat patented factory applied coating for the threaded recesses ensures that Kee Klamp components achieve longer life and better corrosion resistance. A Kee Klamp fitting (size 5 to 9) can support an axial load of 900kg per grub screw with the grub screw tightened to a torque of 39Nm. For more information please contact us. |

A modular in-line balustrade system that has been designed to meet the requirements of both the specify and the contractor. The Kee Nect system can cope with virtually any problem that your building design may pose. Kee Nect baulstrading is the result of several years of research and development to answer the problems that balustrades on staircases can cause. Because of the variable nature of staircases, the use of standard off the shelf components has posed a problem. The geometry needed to achieve the complex turns and angles required can involve costly and time consuming welding The Kee Nect system has been designed to use standard of the shelf components, allowing greater flexibility in specification, installation, and cost. This has been achieved by means of innovative design, in terms of a new handrail connector joint system, which enables Kee Nect baulstrading to cope with virtually any conventional staircase, however tight the angle or steep the gradient. This gives a finished in-line system with a high quality feel and look. The small amount of fabrication needed can be completed on site, requiring only a simple cut, drill, or mill operation to non-visible surfaces. These new features have been extensively tested to ensure their durability and application in a wide variety of staircase situations, and as a result, the Kee Nect system can cope with virtually any problem that your building or design may pose. |

To help builders, contactors and specifies ensure that all commercial and public buildings satisfy the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Building Regulations Pt.M : 2004, Kee Safety Ltd has introduced a new series of galvanised cast iron components. The Building Regulations recommend an outside diameter tube size for such installations of between 40mm - 45mm. The new Kee Access series of Kee Klamp components is specifically designed to give a smooth handrail with size 7 tube (outside diameter 42.4mm) and is therefore compatible with the recommendations. The new Kee Access series incorporates a total of twelve new components and is supplied with versatility, ease and speed of installation in mind. Ideal for use in creating new structures, the series can also be used as a retro fit solution, because it includes Add-on offset component which allows a new handrail to be added onto an existing structure of appropriate size. When and where required, Kee Access can be easily augmented with components from the established Kee Klamp components series to create a complete, cost effective answer to DDA and Building Regulation requirements. The new components can be powder coated in a choice of RAL colours to meet the visibility and "not cold to the touch" requirements of the regulations. |
